Description:
During my Studio 5 class, students were tasked with developing design solutions to mitigate climate change. I chose to focus on transportation, the second-largest source of carbon emissions in the United States, by reimagining urban cycling. Recognizing safety as the primary barrier to bike adoption, I redesigned Lyft’s bikeshare e-bike with an emphasis on enhanced safety features and a more approachable, confidence-inspiring form.
